Kate Upton Found Her Doppelgänger: A Russian Mail-Order Bride Named Ania
If How I Met Your Mother is to be believed, every person has at least one doppelgänger out there waiting to be bumped into.
In the olden days, finding your doppelgänger would require putting on clothes, leaving the house, and walking around for an indefinitely amount of time until you came across someone who looked like you.
Thankfully, with the advent of Twitter, those days of minimal physical exertion are well in the past.
At least as far as Kate Upton is concerned.
The two-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover model has enough on her mind without having to concern herself with finding doppelgängers.
Which is exactly why a Twitter user named Ania reached out to her.
"Me as Kate Upton," tweeted the Moscovite, along with a photo of herself mimicking Upton's decolletage-reinventing exposé on the latest Swimsuit Edition's wood.
A thoroughly impressed Upton immediately retweeted the homage, tacking on the superlative "amazing."
Russian fans of Upton (and of women in general) quickly turned Ania into something of an overnight sensation (NSFW), forcing the self-proclaimed "mail order bride in training" to lock up her Twitter feed.
Ania may have taken a pass on Internet fame, but perhaps her brush with celebrity hasn't been for naught.
"Hopefully @Huliganjettaa started new meme by copying @KateUpton's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit pic," tweeted Mentality Magazine. "Kateing? Uptoning?"
