Alleged WDBJ Shooter Dead From Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound
Bryce Williams, the suspect in this morning’s on-air shooting in Roanoke, VA, is reportedly in critical condition after shooting himself, according to Augusta County Sheriff’s office. Williams reportedly shot himself after a chase on Virginia’s I-66 highway.
Initial reports indicated Williams had died from the wound, but state police have since clarified that he is still alive.

Shortly before shooting himself, Williams tweeted two videos of the shooting, as well as tweets about the two victims, reporter Allison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward.
UPDATE 2:27 pm: The Franklin County sheriff has confirmed that Williams is dead. He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at Inova Fairfax hospital, according to Sheriff Bill Overton.
