America's Next Top Model Contestant Found Dead in Triple Murder
Mirjana Puhar, a 19-year-old Serbian-born model who competed on America's Next Top Model, was found dead Tuesday in an apparent triple murder, TMZ reports. Police arrested alleged killer Emmanuel Jesus Rangel on murder charges today.
The other victims were Puhar's boyfriend Jonathan Alvarado, 23, and his roommate Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia, 21. All three were found in Alvarado and Gonzaga-Garcia's Charlotte, North Carolina, home, where Puhar had recently moved in.
A source identified as "very close" to Puhar confirmed to TMZ that the ANTM cycle 21 contestant was among the victims, saying that a friend came to check on the couple after hearing gunshots.
Police told TMZ that the murder was likely drug-related, and that the victims knew the shooter. According to the New York Daily News, authorities believe the triple-murder may be related to a separate killing at a hotel outside Charlotte on Sunday.
