Ben Jealous, the president and CEO of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, announced on Sunday that he will resign by the end of the year. Jealous, who has been the NAACP's president since 2008, said he will teach at a university and plans to spend more time with his family.

I doubt it, I mean it's just one of the leading civil right's group with a storied history in our country.

His secretary, Betty Humpter, stated he will be sorely missed.
He's probably stepping down due to being wracked with guilt over Abigail Fisher being denied entry to the U. of Texas at Austin because she's white (and not because her GPA and SAT score were below freshman averages).
