Black Lives Matter Protestors Shut Down the Bay Bridge for MLK Day
Black Lives Matter demonstrators halted traffic Monday afternoon on the five-lane westbound span of San Francisco’s Bay Bridge, the Guardian reports, chaining themselves to their cars.
“Today is the day when we reclaim MLK’s radical legacy,” said one protestor, April Thomas. “I’m out here for Tamir Rice, Rekia Boyd, for my mother, myself, for Harriet Tubman.”

In December, San Francisco police killed Mario Woods, in a brutal shooting that was captured on video.
