Bus Passenger Stabs Man on Christmas Eve for Sitting Too Close to Him
Authorities in Seattle are searching for a shank-wielding Scrooge after they say he stabbed a fellow traveler for sitting too close to him on the bus, KOMO-TV reports.
According to police, the victim boarded a city bus on Christmas Eve and sat down near the back, causing the suspect to begin arguing "about how close he sat to him." Apparently enraged by the new rider's proximity, the passenger then took out a knife, stabbing the victim multiple times before fleeing.
The suspect is described as a 40-year-old black male wearing a black coat, blue jeans and a black knit hat. It is currently unknown how many Christmas spirits—if any—visited him Wednesday night to show him the error of his ways.
