Canada to Legalize It
Chilly but civilized American neighbor Canada announced today that it plans to legalize weed by this time next year.
Speaking at a UN conference on drugs today, Canadian Health Minister Jane Philpot said that the level-headed nation will introduce legislation next spring to “legalize and regulate recreational marijuana.” There is little doubt that the rational nation—not being prone to American-style fits of periodic extremist insanity, and where medical marijuana is already legal—will hold true to its commitment.
