Car Bombing in Benghazi Kills Nine People
Nine people, including two children, have died in a car bombing in Benghazi, the second-largest city in Libya, and the site of the fall 2012 attacks on the American embassy.
"I saw people running and some of them were collecting parts of bodies," a witness told the BBC.
The AFP news agency reports that Libyan Deputy Interior Minister Abdullah Massoud said that the bomb had "totally destroyed a restaurant and seriously damaged nearby buildings".

Benghazi, which is where the uprising that eventually toppled Muammar Gaddafi originated, has seen a recent streak of bombings, including an attack on the French embassy in April.
