Class Clown Chris Pratt's High School Yearbook Photos Are Priceless
It should come as a surprise to no one that before he was Andy on Parks and Rec and Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt was a teenage goofball.
A former classmate shared some yearbook photos from Lake Stevens (Wash.) High School, where Pratt was voted class clown and was known for planning wacky assemblies.
Pratt also did a pretty good Michael Jackson, according to redditor warped_and_bubbling:
The one memory that jumps to mind was how good of a moonwalker he was. Seriously, we had one of those pep rally type assemblies once and in the course of one of the "rah-rah" type skits that he was involved in a Michael Jackson song hit and he absolutely nailed it.
According to his entry in the Lake Stevens High Vikings hall of fame, Pratt was a three-sport athlete who took "college prep courses" and had an impressive 3.66 GPA. But his real legacy is as the best pep-rally planner the school has ever seen:
It is as a member of the Leadership Class, though, where he may be best remembered. Chris helped created a variety of wild and memorable assemblies that quickly became a part of Lake Stevens High School folklore.
Pratt graduated in 1997 and moved to Maui, where he smoked a lot of weed in a van and listened to Dr. Dre's The Chronic 2001 constantly.
