[UPDATE: The original version of this post cited the tweet as real. It’s not, it’s fake as hell.] On Monday, Demi Lovato opened the Democratic National Convention with a speech and a song. Apart from this one guy going nuts in the front row, many attendees seemed... unsure what they were listening to.

It was a sentiment echoed by the once-beloved Twitter account Shady Music Facts, which today betrayed me* utterly and completely with a fake tweet purporting to show CNN diminishing Lovato’s accomplishments—of which she has many, perhaps even one or two relevant to the future of the Democratic Party—to the title “current Twitter personality.” I will not forget this Shady Music Facts, and I hope your tea burns your fuckin’ mouth.

But in all fairness, huh?
