Digg Founder Kevin Rose Fights Off Raccoon to Save His Dog
Digg co-founder/Google venture partner Kevin Rose had quite an eventful weekend, if this surveillance camera footage posted to his YouTube account yesterday is to be believed.
Awaking to the sound of his dog Toaster crying and yelping in pain, Rose rushed out to find his beloved pet in the midst of a life-and-death struggle with a vicious raccoon.
Thinking a bit too quickly perhaps, Rose immediately rushed to Toaster's aid, picking up the raccoon with his bare hands, and flinging it down a flight of stairs.
"I do not encourage animal violence," Rose writes in the opening disclaimer. "I wanted to get the wild animal as far away from us as possible."
The dog is okay, save for a few claw and bite marks. The raccoon probably isn't.
