A reporter for Politico, Ben Schreckinger, was denied entry to Donald Trump’s Tuesday night press conference at Mar-a-Lago, despite previously having been granted credentials. Earlier in the day, Schreckinger reported that Trump staffers had tried to get campaign manager Corey Lewandowski fired.

According to Politico, Schreckinger, who has covered the Trump campaign for the past six months, was issued credentials for the press conference via email on Tuesday morning—ten minutes later, those credentials were revoked. When he arrived at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday night, he was denied entry and escorted off the property.

As he spoke to supporters at the club, Trump gestured to the back of the room, referring to “disgusting reporters.” Lewandowski, who is accused of assaulting a former Breitbart reporter, Michelle Fields, laughed. Later, Trump told his campaign manager he was doing a “good job.”

Previously, the Trump campaign has approved media credentials for a pro-slavery white nationalist.
