Yet again, the man who was rocketed to fame by playing the neighbor of a character named Beans is proving that he is succeeding at “retiring from all public life.”

New details have emerged about the wholly unexpected arrest of actor Shia LeBouf, who was picked up in Austin on Friday night for public intoxication and jaywalking.

The 29-year-old allegedly jay-walked past police officers, who noticed that his “speech was slurred and thick-tongued and his eyes were glassy and dilated,” according to the The Austin American-Statesman.

But this was no run-of-the mill Shia LeBeouf arrest, say police. According to an affidavit obtained by the New York Daily News, LeBeouf let loose a tirade of bizarre accusations to an officer identified as Sgt. Jelesijevic. First, he alleged that the Los Angeles Police Department had killed a friend of his. Next, while “staring intently”:

And he became increasingly confrontational, aggravated, profane and verbally aggressive with Sgt. Jelesijevic throughout the stop, calling him a ‘silly man’ three times.

LeBeouf also allegedly claimed he was a member of the National Guard and told the officer to “do whatever the f—k you gotta do!”

Later, as a bard is wont to do, LeBeouf responded to the incident with a stirring sequences of words on his Twitter account.
