Dustin “Screech” Diamond Sentenced to Four Months for Bar Stabbing

Saved by the Bell star Dustin “Screech” Diamond was sentenced to four months in prison and 15 months probation this morning for stabbing a man in a Wisconsin bar on Christmas Day. The 38-year-old actor, who was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct in May, faced a possible sentence of five years.
Late Christmas night, Diamond stabbed a man in Port Washington, Wisc., bar during a scuffle that, Diamond alleged, began when a woman punched his girlfriend, Amanda Schutz. Witnesses later testified that it was Schultz who started the fight. Diamond initially claimed he stabbed the man with a pen during the fight but later changed his story after video of the brawl emerged. Last month, his girlfriend was also convicted of disorderly conduct. She faces a 90 day sentence, according to ABC News.
