Federal Air Marshal Arrested for Taking Upskirt Pictures While On Duty
A U.S. air marshal was removed from a plane and arrested on Thursday for allegedly using his cell phone to take upskirt pictures of at least one woman on board the flight.
Adam Joseph Bartsch, 28, was on duty during the alleged incident, which took place on a Tampa-bound Southwest flight from Nashville. The flight was delayed for about an hour as Bartsch was escorted from the plane and turned over to Nashville police.
"We removed a passenger from Flight No. 3132 from Nashville to Tampa prior to departure due to a Customer concern that was brought to our attention," Southwest said in a statement. "We turned the matter over to local law enforcement, and the passenger did not travel as scheduled."
After Bartsch’s arrest, the TSA said in a statement that they’d “removed this individual from his current duties" and are "in the process of suspending or terminating his employment.”
Bartsch was charged with disorderly conduct and is due in court on November 14.
