Pakistani police say that five relatives of a pregnant woman stoned to death for marrying against the family's wishes have been indicted in the case in Lahore. All five men have pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and torture.

Farzana Parveen was twenty-five and pregnant when she was murdered in public in front of a courthouse in Lahore at the end of May.

The case has brought international attention to violence against women in Muslim-majority Pakistan, where hundreds of women are killed by relatives each year in so-called "honor killings" after allegedly bringing shame to their families through sexual transgressions.

Parveen's father, two brothers, a cousin and ex-husband have been indicted in the case. The trial will begin this Monday.
