If you think you know the ending of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, there's a chance you're right. GRRM told the Telegraph that he's already decided how his wildly popular fantasy series will wrap up, and "one or two" fans have figured it out.

"So many readers were reading the books with so much attention that they were throwing up some theories and while some of those theories were amusing bullshit and creative, some of the theories are right," Martin said.

He added that the clues he's planted in the books are "extremely subtle and obscure," and he's only seen a couple of people figure out "the right solution."

Martin isn't going to change the direction of his narrative because of those internet detectives, though. That would mean throwing out the clues he'd already left and robbing casual readers of some satisfaction.

"Some of my readers who don't read the boards, which thankfully there are hundreds of thousands of them, will still be surprised and other readers will say: 'see, I said that four years ago, I'm smarter than you guys,'" he said.

So congratulations, smarty-pants. You solved the subtle, obscure puzzle! Now, make sure you don't spoil it for the rest of us.
