Here Is a $900 Ticket for Lena Dunham’s Book Tour
Lena Dunham’s upcoming book tour, for her highly-anticipated memoir Not That Kind of Girl, quickly sold out in July. According to the listing’s attached photograph, the seller bought the ticket for $38.00 (which means a 2368% markup from the original price):
A quick look at other regional Craigslists revealed a thriving market for Dunham tickets across the country. Want to take your beau to Dunham’s Boston reading? Someone’s charging $500 for two tickets. San Francisco: $100 per ticket. Austin: $80. Maybe you could fly there.
