Hipster Party Rapper Chippy Nonstop Has Been Deported to Canada
Tiny, hyperactive Oakland rapper Chippy Nonstop—probably best known as the Kreayshawn of 2013 and for being friends with the Kreayshawn of 2012, Kreayshawn—has been deported to Canada and forbidden from reentering the U.S. for five years.

As she tells it on Twitter, Chippy returned from touring in Japan with an expired visa, which landed her "in airport prison" at LAX for all of Friday before finally landing in Vancouver.
She seems to be doing okay, considering the circumstances:

Chippy and her fans are petitioning the White House to renew her visa, and they've started a #freechippy campaign on Twitter with support from Chippy's slightly-famouser friends Kreayshawn and Kitty. (This may not be the most effective way to go about appealing Chippy's five-year ban: as of Tuesday morning, the petition only has 900 of the 100,000 signatures required to trigger a response from the Obama administration.)
Not to worry: Kreayshawn tweeted that the radio show she hosts with Chippy, #LostInThot, will continue as scheduled on Friday, with Chippy calling in from Canada.
