How Did a Juggalette End Up Twerking on This Guy's Enormous Belly?
"THIS JUGGALO JUST TWERKED ON A DUDE'S GUT!" TMZ announced Friday, headlining a video of a woman in a tight top performing a lap dance on one extremely large lap. But how did this unholy union of ass and belly come to be?
Daniel Hill, music editor at the the St. Louis Riverfront Times tracked down the man and woman in the video, and discovered there's a perfectly sensible explanation for all of this. (Well, "sensible" by the standards of the world's greatest Insane Clown Posse fan-orgy, the Gathering of the Juggalos.)
The man's name is Big LA. He is here at the Gathering of the Juggalos with Mike Busey (and the "Busey Beauties"), an Orlando-based full-service party organization headed up by the nephew of celebrated actor legendary madman Gary Busey. Together, Busey, Big LA and their beauties have been operating something of an outdoor stripclub here on the grounds.
The woman giving Big LA a lap dance (or "twerking," by TMZ's very loose definition) is Ratchet Regi, an Orlando stripper and one of the Beauties who lives in Busey's "Sausage Castle." She told Vice she doesn't personally listen to ICP, but she has friends who are juggalos.
"I'm just an entertainer, so I was like, This will be entertaining. Let's do it," she said after reenacting the "lap band dance" live on stage.
The treatment Big LA got was reportedly par for the course at "The King of Rock n' Roll Debauchery's" booth at the Thornville, Ohio, Gathering, where the Beauties offered a complimentary dance with every T-shirt purchase.
Improbably, the story gets even weirder: Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul, who shot the original video and put it on Instagram, was sharing Busey's booth so he could sell his Smoked Out BBQ sauce and On Errthaang All Purpose Seasoning.
It's hard out there for a pimp and a condiment entrepreneur at the Gathering of the Juggalos.
