Cops: Indiana University Sophomore Shouted "White Power" and "Kill the Police" Before Attacking Woman
An Indiana University sophomore with a goddamn ridiculous name allegedly shouted “white power” and “kill the police” before attacking and choking a woman in a cafe and later biting a police officer, reports the Washington Post.
Triceton Bickford had reportedly been overheard making “derogatory statements about African Americans” shortly before he allegedly violently grabbed a woman who “may have been a Muslim” around the neck. With his other hand Bickford allegedly pulled on the woman’s scarf, further restricting her breathing.
The woman was accompanied at the cafe by her husband and 9-year-old daughter, and her husband and a passerby were able to interrupt the attack and restrain Bickford. The report indicates Bickford was allegedly overheard making “racially charged statements” during the attack. Once subdued, Bickford allegedly threatened and spit at the two men.
Was young Triceton done acting like a psycho once police arrived? He was not.
“He also bit an officer on the calf at the jail as he was being removed from the police car in the booking area,” the news release stated.
Triceton—seriously, his name is Triceton—has been charged with battery, strangulation, and public intoxication. Thankfully, the woman was reportedly uninjured, and the child wasn’t hurt.
