Rapper George Watsky, who gained Internet fame for his quick-spitting style, was wrapping up his set at the London leg of the Vans Warped Tour, when he suddenly decided it would be a good idea to scale the stage's 40-foot lighting rig and jump off onto the crowd below.

As it turns out, it was not a good idea: Watsky's stunt ended up injuring both himself and two audience members.

While Watsky got off light with only a few bumps and bruises, a girl he struck broke her arm, while another victim suffered a back injury that required hospitalization.

In an apology post on his Facebook page, Watsky acknowledged that his behavior was "inexcusable," and "it's extremely lucky it wasn't worse."

He goes on to insist he was "not drunk or on drugs," but was simply trying to conquer his "early timidity" of "anything physically dangerous" by doing something physically dangerous.

"The jump was not awesome, it was not badass, and it was not ballsy," Watsky continues. "It turned what should have been a great day for the people who got hurt into a nightmare. It was stupid and wildly irresponsible, plain and simple."

Despite the incident, Watsky intends to perform his six remaining shows, but "ill NOT be jumping off anything."

He also plans to pay a personal visit to the man he put in the hospital, and "wouldn't blame the guy if he spits in my face."
