Ivanka Trump Will Be Vice President
Donald Trump is reportedly set to announce Indiana governor Mike Pence as his running mate. The reports are incorrect—it’s always been Ivanka.
Everyone knows Donald Trump likes beautiful women. But there is no woman more beautiful to him than his biological daughter, Ivanka, seen here in their first official campaign portrait:

If this election cycle is any indication, Trump already relies on Ivanka as a surrogate.
“My father is a feminist. He’s a big reason I am the woman I am today,” Ivanka told the Sunday Times earlier this month, calling him “one of the great advocates for women.”
None more than herself. Here is what Donald has said of Ivanka, who is his daughter. “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”
But she is and he’s not, so they’ve found other arrangements. She already serves under him as his executive vice president of development and acquisitions for the Trump Organization. And he’s been talking about ruling the country with her for years—just no one was listening. “There’s never been anybody like Ivanka in the White House. I think she’d be an amazing addition,” Trump said in 2011.
As it is, Ivanka wields considerable influence over the campaign, and she reportedly convinced her dad to fire Corey Lewandowski and watched while it happened—a bad sign for Pence, whose campaign meeting she sat in on yesterday.
“I think her father really listens to her, and when I say listens to her I mean I think her father respects her a great deal, and not just because she’s his daughter,” billionaire Carl Icahn told the New York Times in April. “I don’t say that lightly. I have a lot of wealthy friends who have kids and a few of them stand out, but not that many.”
She’s also popular with white women and Jews, two demographics her father has failed to make inroads with, for some reason. Pence, a conservative white guy who once argued smoking doesn’t kill—not so much.
Plus Pence holds a host of other terrible opinions. At least the only things Ivanka posts on the internet are nice Instagram photos.
