Jessie J Can Sing "Bang Bang" With Her Mouth Closed, And It's Terrifying
As a lonely show-business child who lived in a pretend box, Jessie J was forced to entertain herself by training as a freakish dummyless ventriloquist. And even though she's now an internationally known performer who frequently appears in public and interacts with other human beings, she's still able to put herself back in that imaginary box, singing to herself with her mouth closed.
On his show Friday, Graham Norton convinced Jessie to sing the siren song she uses to lure imaginary friends aground on her imaginary beach, which appears to observers in the real world like someone hum-squeaking a pop tune while both looking and sounding like a chipmunk.
Even Jessie J's childhood mind-world, a place formerly free of the drudgery of her daily pop star chores, has now been invaded and conquered by "Bang Bang." There is no escape. Not for any of us.
