Lebron James is 6 feet 8 inches tall. Prince is 5 feet 2 inches tall. Nevertheless, James does a pretty good Prince.

The NBA star did a rendition of “Purple Rain,” caught in a snippet by Kevin Love. It’s startlingly accurate.

You would be able to compare James to the real thing, except that Prince won’t allow much of his music videos on YouTube. In 2007, the “artist formerly known as” sued YouTube for unauthorized use of his music in a bid to “reclaim his art on the Internet.”

At least we have Lebron James, the next best thing.
