LSU's Delta Kappa Epilson chapter is awful sorry about the banner they hung from their frat house this weekend for the game against Sam Houston State, which read "Michael isn't the only Sam getting the D tonight." While "satire" was the goal, DKE brothers say, "crossing the line and causing offense to others [was] never the intent."

The DKE bros wrote an apology letter after the University asked them to take it down. According to The Times-Picayune, DKE is voluntarily discontinuing its grand tradition of hanging cute game day banners until the bros can figure out how not to offend people. This is the same frat who brought you "Getting Massacred Is Nothing New to Kent St." for last year's Kent State game and "Like the Batman premiere, we're starting off with a bang!" the year before.

LSU Media Relations Director Ernie Ballard told The Times-Picayune that while the Michael Sam banner was "hurtful," it did not violate the student code of conduct. And you know, boys will be boys, blah blah blah. Geaux tigers!
