Meet The Plastic Surgeon Who Sculpted Himself the 'Perfect Wife'
A controversial plastic surgeon previously best known for pioneering postpartum vaginal reconstruction and for appearing on the popular reality TV show Dr. 90210 is in the headlines again this week after revealing that he used his medical license and a scalpel to transform a patient into the "perfect wife" for himself.
When Dr. David Matlock, 49, first met Veronica back in 2007, she was a woman looking to undergo vaginoplasty following the birth of her daughter.
Veronica was 40lbs. heavier then, but Matlock told Barcroft Media he immediately saw the potential underneath her extra skin.
"I didn't see her weight then," he said. "I just knew what I wanted to do."
In addition to the vaginoplasty, Matlock recommended Veronica purchase a package deal known as the "Wonder Woman Makeover" — an all-over liposuction and a Brazilian "butt lift" for good measure.
Shortly after sculpting Veronica into "ideal" wife material, Matlock invited her to go out on a date, and proposed to her right there and then.
Since then Veronica, now 38, has undergone several additional surgeries and refers to herself as "a walking advertisement" for Matlock.
One of the more hyperbolic procedures Veronica has submitted to — the "G-Shot" — is another of her husband's innovations, and involves injecting "a human engineered hyaluronan" into the so-called G-spot in order to heighten a woman's sexual experience.
Both Dr. Matlock and his wife compete in body-building competition in order to show off their sculpted physiques.
Which isn't just an expression: The good doctor admits to having augmented his muscles with yet another trademarked technique known as Vaser High Def Liposculpting — or the injection of fat directly into biceps, triceps, calves, or pecs.
For what it's worth, it seems Veronica's daughter Isabella at least hasn't bought into her stepdad's get slim quick schemes.
"'I would never really want to get surgery, because it's not really you, like I want to be myself," she said.
