Cyclist Malcolm Fox was wrapping up a bike ride at a popular trail in Somerset West, South Africa, when three men, one of the armed with a gun, approached him. They took his bike, phone, car keys, and sunglasses, but left the GoPro camera mounted on his helmet.

This has to be another one of those viral GoPro ads, right? Apparently not. Despite staring directly into the camera—which was very conspicuous, as you can tell by Fox's shadow—the robbers left it untouched. They were later arrested thanks to the video evidence, South Africa's Citizen and the South African edition of Bicycling both report.
