In light of the reason Kanye West was invited to be a guest on last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host "thought it would be appropriate" to air an all-musician edition of the show's best recurring segment, "Mean Tweets."

Now, granted, our own Maggie Lange recently uncovered that a large chuck of the "mean tweet" celebrities are asked to read aloud have been faked for our amusement.

But a skimming of the tweets read during last night's installment appears to confirm they are legit.

And, besides, even if someone on Twitter hadn't called 2 Chainz out for looking like Whoopi Goldberg, would it be any less #truuuuu?
