Once again proving the state’s status as a scary, right-wing version of Mad Libs, a Florida man who declared his gun store a “Muslim-free zone” announced a contest on Monday to win an original Confederate flag painting by George Zimmerman.

According to Florida Gun Supply’s website, half of the proceeds will go to Trayvon Martin’s killer and half will go to owner Andy Hallinan, who is currently facing a federal discrimination lawsuit filed by the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

“The caption, ‘the 2nd protects the first’ [sic] is a double entendre,” Zimmerman told the gun seller. “The first flag I painted on this canvas was an American Flag, but decided to repaint over it with the Confederate Flag when I heard Andy was getting sued by CAIR. The 2nd flag I painted was the Battle Flag - which we need in America in order to protect the first.”

Just how, exactly, the flag of a bloody secessionist movement protects that of the country it tried to separate from isn’t completely clear, but because it was painted by a famous killer, Florida Gun Supply cheerfully notes this particular incoherent Facebook meme “could be worth up to $100,000!”
