National Review Asks: Why Don't You Protest When Killers ARE Indicted?
Deroy Murdock of National Review Online would like everyone to stop protesting the lack of an indictment in the killing of Michael Brown, so that Americans can focus instead on the problem of black-on-black crime. He asks:
Where are the angry crowds demanding justice for blacks such as these, who were wiped out in St. Louis by other blacks in recent memory?
Then Murdock proceeds to list:
- a case in which a suspect was arrested and charged with first-degree murder
- a case in which a suspect was arrested and charged with first-degree murder
- a case in which a suspect was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Why do angry crowds not show up demanding justice in killings where the justice system is actively prosecuting the accused killers? This is a mystery, if you write for National Review Online. Probably it's because of a double standard somewhere.
