The Faith Regional Medical Center in Norfolk, Neb. is reporting that one person has died and at least 15 people have been admitted with critical injuries after twin tornadoes tore through the state this evening.

The Omaha World-Herald is reporting that the rural areas around the small town of Pilger, Neb. were hit especially hard. "It was like God dragged two fingernails across the the land," Gregg Moeller of Wisner said.

Per USA Today, much of the region—eastern Nebraska, northern Iowa, and southern Minnesota—is under "moderate" risk for severe storms for the rest of the day.
