Sir Patrick Stewart confirmed over the weekend that he and his singer-songwriter girlfriend Sunny Ozell have indeed made it so (i.e. got married) by posting a short and sweet tweet featuring a photo of himself and Ozell sitting together in a ball pit.

The photo is play on his long-time Twitter profile pic in which he sits alone inside quite possibly the same ball pit.

As predicted by your wildest nerdboy/girl fantasies, the couple's wedding ceremony was officiated by Sir Ian McKellen, who posted a Facebook photo of himself holding a "Minister" T-shirt above the caption, "I did my part."

Stewart first met the 35-year-old Ozell at the Brooklyn Academy of Music back in 2008, and the two have been together ever since.

This is Stewart's third marriage.
