Memories Pizza, the Walkerton, Ind. pizzeria that took a brave stand against delivering its pizza to gay weddings this week, is closing its doors for the time being after the store and its owners were flooded with ridicule and threats.

Crystal O'Connor, whose family owns the pizzeria, told the ABC affiliate in Indianapolis that her family was inundated with threatening phone calls and social media messages after she voiced her support for the state's bigoted Religious Freedom Restoration Act and that because Memories is a "Christian establishment," they would not cater a gay wedding.

"Because I don't believe in something that they want, they see fit to be angry about it. It's really confusing to me," Kevin O'Connor told Megyn Kelly on Fox News last night. "I'm just a little guy in a little, tiny town. That's where I've been my whole life. It's just been ugly. I don't know what to call it."

A GoFundMe campaign started for the restaurant, meanwhile, has raised more than $60,000.
