I'll never understand people's love affair with Tina Fey. She's not quite the antithesis of funny but she does nothing for me.
30 Rock? Booooorrrrring.
SNL when her (and later Seth Meyers) were writing for it? Crrrrraaaaaaaap.
Is it just me? I have a funny bone. Honest.
She is hilarious, it is just you but we were all too polite to say so.
ETF double post, sorry!
I do think Shelly Long has the chops to be part of this.
The first season of 30 Rock was pretty funny, and then it was a stretch. SNL has never been funny at any time, ever. It's a horrible show, and I'm convinced it's only lasted because people are so drunk and/or passed out by the time it's on, that public opinion is hazy, at best.
Dear Arturo327,
Huzzah for the Truth Teller!
When I first set out to ruin SNL, I didn’t think anyone would notice, but I persevered because—like you trying to do a nine-piece jigsaw puzzle—it was a labor of love.
I’m not one to toot my own horn, but I feel safe with you, Arturo327, so I’ll say it. Everything you ever hated on SNL was by me, and anything you ever liked was by someone else who did it against my will.
Sincerely,
Tina Fey
P.S. You know who does have a funny bone in her body? Your mom every night for a dollar.
Yay!!
At least NBC will have one good show.
You mean Norm and Cliff weren't a couple?
I want to go to there.
