Rob Ford Has Another Tumor Growing in His Abdomen
Former Toronto Mayor and prominent butthead Rob Ford has a tumor growing on his bladder and will soon learn whether it is cancerous, reports the Associated Press.
Ford has had a hell of a time with cancer in the last two years. He was forced to withdraw from the Toronto mayoral race back in September 2014 after doctors discovered a “rare, aggressive” form of cancer in his abdomen. A second growth was also found on Ford’s butt, but, thankfully, neither tumor affected any of his organs. He underwent a successful 10-hour surgical procedure to remove the mass from his abdomen in May of this year.
Dan Jacobs, Ford’s chief of staff, issued a statement Wednesday that said Ford was experiencing abdominal pain, and he has spent time undergoing examination and testing.
Ford also sent a tweet thanking his supporters for their “continued thoughts and prayers.”
“I remain optimistic that I will be able to overcome this setback,” he tweeted.
Cancer is the worst. Get well, big man.
