Russia (via Wikileaks) Releases 20,000 Hacked DNC Emails Just in Time For the Convention
Russia, by way of Wikileaks, today released close to 20,000 hacked DNC emails searchable by keyword, just in time for the convention.
According to Wikileaks, the cache of emails come from the inboxes of seven central DNC employees—Communications Director Luis Miranda, National Finance Director Jordan Kaplan, Finance Chief of Staff Scott Comer, Finance Director of Data & Strategic Initiatives Daniel Parrish, Finance Director Allen Zachary, Senior Advisor Andrew Wright, and Northern California Finance Director Robert Stowe.
Of the 19,252 emails and 8,034 attachments, only 19 contain the word “daddy.” Others appear to contain personal information, including credit card numbers, despite the DNC’s initial claim that no personal donor information was accessed in the hack.
