Saturday Night Live, which features not a single black woman on cast, immediately addressed the issue last night in its opening sketch: By poking fun at itself and not really addressing anything (a point driven home by the Rev. Al Sharpton).

Guest-host Kerry Washington played Michelle Obama meeting with the President in the oval office, after a long ('very long") absence from the sketch show. But after Oprah makes a sudden arrival, things get complicated. That's when Washington breaks the fourth wall and complains about having to get up and change into an Oprah outfit. An old-school SNL text scroll explains that while the SNL cast is not ideal at the moment, it should be rectified in the near future. Unless they "fall in love with another white guy."

The sketch ends with the Rev. Al Sharpton appearing on-stage, announcing "What have we learned from this sketch? As usual, nothing."
