Soldier Home Early from Afghanistan Stuns Family with Sneaky Surprise
Capt. Bronson had been away from home for nearly nine months, six of which were spent serving in Afghanistan, when he received word that he will be returning to his family three weeks early.
Described by an acquaintance as a "classic prankster," Bronson decided this would be as good an opportunity as any to pull a truly memorable goof on his wife Bethany and their children.
While swimming in Kadena Marina near the Okinawa base where Bronson is stationed, the family gathered around a video camera to record a message to the absent soldier.
