French authorities say this morning’s raid on a Suburban Paris apartment came just in time to prevent “some kind of operation” the suspects were planning.

The early-morning raid on an apartment in Saint-Denis yielded seven arrests and two deaths—reportedly due to a woman detonating a suicide vest, killing herself and another person.

Reports indicate authorities raided the apartment in search of the suspected mastermind of the Paris attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, after phone surveillance indicated he was hiding out in the area.

But officials say they may have thwarted an attack as well: “police sources” tell CNN the raid came “right on time” because intel indicated the suspects were “about to move on some kind of operation.”
