ABDC crowned its champion last night, but not before dragging out the inevitable announcement for as long as possible with finale filler performances, pyrotechnics, and the requisite lengthy anticipatory silences.

ABDC brought back its third season favorite, the Illusion Challenge, for a battle that combined moves and magic. The two consistently best groups, Blueprint Cru and Poreotix, each showed an instant knack for tricks, wowing with their wizardly skills.

Disco suffers an undeservedly bad rap considering it's one of the most honestly blissful genres of music. Last night, ABDC's best crews burned up the floor with their own disco infernos, transforming kitschy 70s fare into hip hop.

America's Best Dance Crew (ABDC is you're not lame) held it's Northeast regionals last night. And it was the danciest, crewiest, northeastiest hour of television evarrrr. But is it possible a gaggle of Canadians can win an American dance competition?
