On October 14, 2011 a remotely piloted aircraft operated by the United States launched a missile at a restaurant in Aden, Yemen, killing, among several other nearby civilians, an American citizen named Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, who was born in Denver to Yemeni-born parents and later moved with them back to Yemen.

The grandfather of Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, the U.S. citizen killed by a drone strike in Yemen, is demanding justice. "The government has killed a 16-year-old American boy. Shouldn’t it at least have to explain why?"
