Aimee Copeland, the Georgia Master's student who found herself plagued by necrotizing fasciitis following a zip line accident, is heading home from the hospital soon. This is great news, especially for a person whose recovery was called "mind-boggling."

It's been over a month since we last reported on Aimee Copeland, the 24-year-old grad student suffering from a virulent case of necrotizing fasciitis. Since then, she has continued to make strides toward recovery, even refusing morphine during some of her procedures.

This is flesh-eating bacteria, magnified a lot. And the type of bacteria attacking 24-year-old Aimee Copeland's body, Aeromonas hydrophila, is "remarkably common."
