Rolling Stone and Us Weekly owner Jann Wenner and his partner, Matt Nye, (for whom he dropped his wife, Jane) are expecting twins in January, according to Business Week's Jon Fine. Hey, the list of most popular baby names in New York City came out today! It's here! For boys: Joshua is #4! Jayden is #5! Elijah is #28! Alex is #44! There were 82 Malachis! 92 Menachems! 32 Ashtons and 32 Dovs! For girls: Emily is #2! Sigh. Also there are 102 girls named Genesis, poor things. No Gingerlys or Dillingers... yet.

"Is Halle Berry pregnant?" has basically been a recurring article in celeb weeklies since their covers featured Ava Gardner and Frank Sinatra, so it took a while for us to wrap our minds around the idea that this time, Halle Berry is really actually, truly, up the stick. "Yes, I am three months pregnant! Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I've waited a long time for this moment in life. Now the next seven months will be the longest of my life!" she told Access Hollywood last night. God, of all of our lives. (Plus, uh, ten months of gestation certainly sounds like too much to us!) So we're kind of loving Christine Coppa, the 26 year old who got knocked up and decided to keep the baby and write about it for Glamour. But there's just something about the last sentence of today's column that ... epitomizes a demographic/cultural shift with such economy that we felt it necessary to point and laugh? And that sentence is: "Afterwards, I walked to the L train, exhausted but extra tall and holding my bump."

This most recent photo of Naomi, who as everyone knows got sperminated by her fiance the greatest actor of our time Liev Schrieber, was taken in LA on June 27. Lady is like 11 months pregnant. Or at least that is how it has been seeming to Stalker Map Intern Valerie Flame. Somewhere towards the end of Naomi's second trimester, Valerie started getting really pissy about the flood of boring samey Naomi and Liev sightings. "I am so sick of them. They're seen everywhere all the time and I don't care about them. How about a ban unless she gives birth on the sidewalk?" When her request was not met, things started to get sorta twisted!
It's named Henry Daniel, which is admirably restrained of the Moders! Just thought you might like to know.
