By most accounts, Maria Gunnoe is a pretty swell lady. She's a coal activist who's won prizes for her efforts to stop mountaintop removal coal mining, and just last week she went to Washington, D.C. to talk to the House Committee on Natural Resources. Gunnoe was in our nation's capital to plead her case on behalf of her West Virginia neighbors suffering through coal-related water pollution.

Ranting Weiner fetishist and far-right blog mogul Andrew Breitbart is so tired of "vicious" Twitter leftists and liberals calling him gay—which they do for no reason—that sometimes, during "unclear moments" of addled thinking and high emotions, he thinks about how cool it would be if America had another civil war. Then he might finally fulfill his promise of taking down America's Left, and also end his own victimization. "Major-named" people in the military has his back on this!

So, today Howard Dean called Fox News 'absolutely racist' for its role in promoting that misleading video of USDA employee Shirley Sherrod. Which means that almost everyone involved in this scandal is a racist, according to someone.

On Tuesday, Shirley Sherrod, a black USDA employee, resigned, under pressure from the White House, after conservative publisher Andrew Breitbart published a video where she seemed to admit to anti-white discrimination. Except the video shows her saying the exact opposite.

Congressman Bob Etheridge has apologized for awkwardly grabbing that "college student" in this morning's hot political YouTube video, after watching it on blogs. Meanwhile, the Democrats have come up with some talking points about the issue, which don't really help.
