Buddy "Cake Boss" Valastro's cake life passed before his cake eyes when his 32-foot Boston Whaler got stranded in heavy fog in New York Harbor this weekend.

The people have spoken, or whatever. Former RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Carmen Carrera's protest and petition-launching after being ridiculed on Monday's episode of Cake Boss have resulted in TLC deciding to halt all planned future airings of the episode. The network has also removed it from online retailers. This move is, unsurprisingly, approved by GLAAD, which says on its blog:

Trans bombshell Carmen Carrera, best known as the fourth runner-up of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3, is asking TLC's Cake Boss to apologize after her appearance on last night's episode. Carrera appeared on the show to participate in a prank set up by Buddy "Cake Boss" Valastro and directed at Anthony "Cousin Anthony" Bellifemine. Basically, the prank was to convince Anthony to flirt with Carrera and then reveal that Carrera is a trans woman and go, "Haha, you like a trans woman."
