Two six-year-olds and a three-year-old were caught robbing a house in Covington, La. over the weekend, thankfully stopping the would-be thieves at the start of, presumably, the most adorable crime wave known to man. Here's their haul:

Universal announced today that they're planning a live-action movie version of the game Candy Land. You read that right. Ridley Scott's working on a Monopoly movie. So what boardgames could be next? Let's speculate.

· Tropic Thunder writer Etan Cohen will pen Universal's adaptation of Hasbro's Candy Land, with Enchanted's Kevin Lima set to direct. This will probably wind up matching Enchanted's tone of grownup-servicing kiddie-nip:

When we last checked in on Salon's crazy columnist Cary Tennis, he was angrily telling all his online critics to leave him alone. And he hasn't heard anything from us since! Unfortunately, outside criticism was the only thing keeping Cary tethered to reality. Its absence has him backsliding, as evidenced by his response yesterday to a rich guy asking if he should leave the suburbs because he hates it, even though he has a new, expensive house. What about the commuting situation, and the volatile housing market,and his wife's career? So many factors to consider. Is he being rash? And Cary Tennis replied: Why not move to my imaginary Fantasy Land, instead?
