Today Catholic League President Bill Donohue is alerting his audience to a minor controversy at Bellingham High School in Washington State, involving a drama club awards ceremony that got out of hand. According to Donohue, one of the tasteless jokes told during the ceremony was “among the most vulgar expressions of anti-Catholicism that I have encountered in some time.” Sounds pretty bad!

Flattering himself and letting his fantasies get the best of him, Donohue calls these "gay training sessions," which they are not.
Yesterday, tig o'l bigot Bill Donohue of the Catholic League announced that he would not be marching in New York's upcoming LGBT Pride parade, after having his application to do so accepted by Pride's powers that be. Why the flip-flop? In the weak excuse for an excuse posted on his organization's website, Donohue wrote:

So furious was he at the outrage over the St. Patrick's Day Parade's continual banning of gay groups that he thought he'd reverse things a little bit and show the gays how it felt when someone who wasn't implicitly invited wanted to march in one of their parades. He applied to march in New York's LGBT Pride parade, vowing to carry a banner proclaiming, "Straight is Great." He also said he'd bring a wedding cake. "That'll really stick it to them," he probably thought.
