A U.S. military service member has been killed in combat in northern Iraq, the Associated Press reports. The American, serving as an advisor to Kurdish Peshmerga troops, was killed by “direct fire” from Islamic State forces that had breached the Peshmerga’s forward line.

The Defense Department released today the findings of a investigation into the deadly U.S. airstrike on a Doctors Without Borders hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan, that left 42 dead—including 30 civilians—this past October. The investigation concluded that the bombing was the result of the “fog of war.”

In response to a FOIA request, U.S. Central Command tells Gawker that it intends to release on April 29 the results of an investigation into the clusterfuck that resulted in an Air Force special ops AC-130 bombing a Doctors Without Borders hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan, last fall.

Her twin sister, Natalie Khawam, is the bankrupt lawyer that a D.C judge has called "unstable," who has been repeatedly accused of lying to state and federal courts, and who, with her sister, regularly took Petraeus' wife on shopping trips.
