But for 14-year-old Sukanya Roy—the winner of this year's Scripps National Spelling Bee, which just wrapped up outside Washington, DC—it means $25,000 cash, a $5,000 scholarship, a $2,500 bond, a Barnes & Noble Nook, and the title of the best middle school speller in the country. Idaho Hunters to Kill Pesky Wolves for Eating Too Many Elk

The sale of wolf hunting permits in Idaho yesterday was "brisk," following the state's removal of most of the areas wolves from the endangered species list. On Wednesday, the head of the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Virgil Moore told reporters, "Whether you agree with how they got here or why they got here, they are now wards of the state." Tonight's American Idol results show—aside from the actual eliminations—was all about food, apparently! First, Fantasia performed "Collard Greens and Cornbread." Then, Jamie Foxx and will.i.am struggled through a rendition of "Hot Wings," from their upcoming film, Rio.

On tonight's American Idol, Jacob Lusk performed Marvin Gaye's "You're All I Need To Get By." Afterward, Steven Tyler rushed the stage to hug him. Then, Randy Jackson declared it the best performance in the "history of this show."
